You have the ability to offer referral rewards for subscriptions/memberships in Submatic. When someone signs up using a customer's referral link, both the referrer and the new member can receive a reward.
Getting Started
To create a Referral Program, go to Settings > Referral Programs and click "+ Create Referral Program".
Referral Programs must include a reward for the referrer. You also have the option to include a reward for the recipient (the new customer), but only the referrer reward is required.
Program Statuses
Referral Programs in Submatic can have one of the following statuses:
- Pending: No Rewards have been assigned
- Ready to Link: A reward has been added for the referrer; the program is ready to be linked
- Active: The program is currently linked to one or more templates
Assigning Rewards
Referral rewards can take the form of coupons or discounts. To assign a reward:
- Click "Add Reward" under the Referrer row.
- Define the reward(s)
- Optionally repeat the process under the Recipient row. If no reward will be issued to the recipient click "None"
Note: A referral program will not be considered complete until either a reward is added for the recipient, or you have designated the recipient reward to be 'None'.
Link Template to Referral Program
Once your Referral Program is Ready to Link, click "Manage Template Link". A pop-up window will appear allowing you to select one or more templates to link with the referral program.
Note: While you can reuse the same referral program across multiple templates, each template can only have one active referral program at a time.
Customer Workflow
Customers have access to a unique shareable link in the customer portal as shown above. Referral rewards are automatically issued after sign up.
