Sending a renewal reminder is good practice especially for subscriptions with longer billing cycles. In Submatic you can configure the schedule for these reminders. An example renewal reminder email is displayed here:
Manage Renewal Reminders
You may enable/disable reminders, customize reminder timing, add additional reminders for any billing cycle (up to 3 reminders per template).
- Go to Templates
- Click Manage > Communications > Renewal Communications
- Adjust Renewal Reminder settings (first section at the top of the page)
- Click the "Save Changes" button at the top right corner
To enable or disable reminders click on the toggle switch. If the switch is blue then reminders are on (as shown in the below image).
To update a reminder schedule enter a number in the text box and select Days, Weeks, or Months from the dropdown. Click the "Add Another Reminder" button to add an additional reminder, or click on the red "X" button to remove a reminder.
Default Renewal Reminders
By default Submatic will schedule a renewal reminder for any Subscription Template that has a billing cycle of 3 months or longer. The default email reminder schedule is as follows:
